Initially it was just an idea we had: designing a helicopter which would be fun for absolutely any pilot. But the idea took shape, and here's the result: the Kobold.
Of course, there is no denying the Sky Fox basis, nor the deeper meaning behind the model. Kobold means "hobgoblin", and examples of the model have spirited themselves into all manner of flying clubs, because it is good value and very well equipped.
As a beginner's first helicopter the Kobold is a great choice, but it is just as popular amongst pilots with many years' experience, who find it a delightful model for practising. After all, we all know that this model is just as versatile as the Sky Fox itself.
There are plenty of exclusive detail fittings which you might wish to retro-fit to meet your personal preferences - this is possible at any time. To convert your Kobold into the basis for a full-fuselage helicopter just remove the cabin, landing gear and tail boom.
The model is supplied in kit-form, i.e. not assembled.
